Jane Adams is an American actress and screenwriter. Her roles include the films Light Sleeper, Happiness (1998), Mumford, Songcatcher, The Anniversary Party, Orange County, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Little Children, All the Light in the Sky, which she also co-wrote; She Dies Tomorrow, Dog, and Sick (2022), and the shows Frasier, Hung, Hacks, and The Idol. She has won a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress, for An Inspector Calls.

She is the daughter of Janice, an administrative assistant, and William Adams, an engineer.
