Jesus Camp Premiere And Awards
Jesus camp premiered in 2006 at the Tribeca Film Festival and was sold by the A&E Indie Films to Magnolia Pictures. This series was nominated for Best Documentary Feature at the 79th Academy Awards, and thus the film had brought many controversies to the camp, which led to its eventual closure.

Jesus Camp Where Are They Now?
1. Rachael Elhardt
Rachael was genuinely and dedicated to her faith in the camp. Rachael believed that if one did not sing and dance and pray to the lord loudly, he would not enter the church. She called the churches with silent sermons as "dead churches." When she was young, she was trying to convert people into her faith, and she had viewed it as saving for the people who needed "saving."
2. Andrew Sommerkamp
During the camp, Andrew was scared of a 10-year-old who was unsure about his faith in god. He was surrounded by devout Christian children in the camp and left himself questioning if the religion had a disability that had resulted in him being ashamed of himself. It is a simple thing not to understand or even doubt what will be told inside the bible and brought the small kid to tears as he tried to keep up with his camp friends.
3. Levi O' Brien
Levi was only 12 when he entered this Jesus camp. He was homeschooled using books throughout his childhood and claimed science to be wrong. He was brought up with false facts and made him a severely nontolerant non-Christians. While on the show, Levi spoke about how he disliked people who did not enlarge his brand to Christianity.
4. Victoria Binger - Troy
Troy was homeschooled from his childhood, and in this series, she had come across as a dancer, but she had a strong notion about the difference between god and dancing in her pleasure. When she was young, she focused on music artists based on songs like relationships and romance. She had summed up perfectly when she said on camera, "When she dances she makes sure that god because people will always notice when I'm dancing for the flesh."
