Mrs Miniver Story
A moving drama of a middle-class English family learning to cope with war is recounted in a succession of dramatic vignettes. The family must deal with the father's departure for the beaches of Dunkirk, the discovery of a wounded Nazi pilot, the murder of the daughter-in-law in an air attack, and the son's recruitment into the Royal Air Force, all while being guided by the gorgeous and graceful matriarch.
