Nothing Beats a Jet2holiday on Heart South Wales, February-March 2023 – Specific Rules
1. The Nothing Beats a Jet2holiday promotion (‘Promotion’) is organised by Global (as defined in the General Terms and Conditions). The Promotion will run from Monday 27th February 2023 to Friday 3rd March 2023 on Heart South Wales. Global is the Promoter. The ‘Promotion Partner’ mentioned in these Specific Rules is Jet2holidays and the ‘Prize Providers’ are Jet2holidays and Global.
2. IMPORTANT: The Promotion is subject to these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions which are available here (together, the ‘Promotion Terms and Conditions’). Entry into the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions.
Details of the Promotion:
3. To enter the Promotion, you must listen to the Heart South Wales Drive Show between 16:00 – 19:00 every day from Monday 27th February to Friday 3rd March and, when prompted by the presenter(s), text in with the keyword given out on air to 82122 (the ‘Text Message Line’).
4. The opening and closing times of the Text Message Line will be given out on air each day of the Promotion. Entries received before or after this time will not be included in the Promotion but may still be charged.
5. Once the Text Message Line has closed, all eligible entries will be entered into a draw. One correct entry will be selected at random and the entrant will be contacted by one of our representatives via the telephone on the number on which you entered. If the entry is ineligible, we reserve the right to select another entrant to participate in the Promotion or withdraw the prize and select another entrant, as applicable.
6. The selected entrant will come to air to play the on-air game. The entrant will be asked 3 questions based on the countries geographically located between the UK and the holiday destination they are playing for, which will have been announced by the presenter(s) on air. The entrant must attempt to correctly answer all 3 questions to win the prize. The entrant cannot skip a question and must provide an answer within 5 seconds of the question being asked. The producer’s decision is final on whether a question has been answered correctly or not, and no correspondence will be entered into on this matter.
7. If the entrant in play answers a question incorrectly, or answers outside of the allocated 5 seconds, they will not continue playing the game and will not be eligible to win the prize. They will be replaced by a new randomly selected entrant chosen from all text entries received during that day’s round. That new entrant will then have to answer the question/s correctly, starting from the question the previous entrant failed to answer correctly. For the avoidance of doubt, if an entrant answered two questions correctly but got the third question wrong, another entrant would come to air and would have to answer the third question only, and if they answer the third question correctly they would win. Thus, a total of 3 questions will be asked each day and the entrant in play who answers the third question correctly will win the prize.
8. We are not responsible for any latency experienced by your mobile phone network, which may delay the delivery of text messages to and/or from us.
9. Text messages will be charged at standard network rates. Standard rate text messages to promotion shortcodes are not normally included in ‘inclusive’ packages and may be charged. If entry is made by text message, be sure to use the correct shortcode. In all cases, please check with your service provider for more details and charges. If you are not the bill payer, you must obtain the bill payer’s permission before entering.
10. The call with the presenter(s) will either be broadcast live or pre-recorded for future broadcast. You must answer your telephone when we contact you. Someone else cannot answer the phone, participate or accept a prize on your behalf. If: (i) you fail to answer the phone; (ii) someone else answers the phone; (iii) the call goes to voicemail; (iv) the call becomes disconnected; (v) you are not (or do not seem to us to be) in a position to safely and/or lawfully take or remain on the call (for example, if you are or seem to be driving); or (vi) you are not audible or intelligible or we are not able to conduct a conversation with you in a manner that is suitable for broadcast for any reason beyond our control (including, but not limited to: low/no signal on your device, a call is dropped by any network, you are travelling, there is too much background noise or feedback, etc.); before or during the Promotion, you may be disqualified and we reserve the right to select another entrant to participate in the Promotion or withdraw the prize and select another winner, as applicable. If you have complied with all applicable terms and conditions, and if you are successful (including correctly answering any questions and/or successfully completing any tasks, as applicable) then you will be declared the winner of the Promotion.
11. We and our Promotion Partner may publish and publicise your name, image, social media handle and/or profile picture, your nearest geographical location (for example, your nearest city, town or county) and your entry, and we may refer to your and any applicable third party’s (for example a guest/travel companion) association with the Promotion and/or the prize, in any and all media, worldwide, in perpetuity, for publicity and PR purposes solely in connection with the Promotion.
12. In relation to winners (and runners up if applicable), you understand that we and our Promotion Partner may: (i) interview you and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) which we may film, photograph and/or record and; (ii) film, photograph and/or record, you and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) in connection with the Promotion, either by telephone or in person, and we may use such films, recordings and/or photographs for publicity and PR purposes in any and all media, worldwide, as often and for as long as we consider appropriate or desirable, in connection with the Promotion. We may also publish your and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) name, image, social media handle and/or profile picture.
Eligibility:
13. The Promotion is only open to residents of the UK aged 18 and over, and who are based in the UK at the time of entry.
14. All passengers must have a valid UK passport and must meet all relevant visa and/or other entry requirements including any medical/health screening requirements or similar.
15. Each holiday is available for 2 adults aged 18 or over, and up to 2 children up to the age of 16 years on the date of return. Entrants and their family/travel companions must meet this age criteria in order to redeem the prize.
16. Entry is restricted to one entry per person per round; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Promotion.
17. Entrants may not win more than one prize during the Promotion period.
18. Employees and officers of Jet2holidays Limited, Jet2.com Limited, Jet2 plc or any companies within the same group or any organisation professionally involved with the prize draw (or in each case, their close relatives) are not eligible to enter.

19. Each day, between Monday 27th February 2023 and Friday 3rd March 2023 one winning entrant will win a Jet2holiday (5 prize winners in total). The prize breakdown is outlined below:
20. Monday 27th February – Greece: One winner will win a 7-night holiday for a family of 4 (2 adults aged 18 or over, and up to 2 children up to the age of 16 years on the date of return). The holiday will be on an all-inclusive basis and you will stay in a Loft Suite with Side Sea View room at the Portes Lithos Luxury Resort Hotel, Halkidiki. This prize includes return flights for up to 4 people from any UK airport from which Jet2 flies directly to Thessaloniki airport (SKG) and allows the duration of the prize advertised. Transfers to and from the overseas airport and the hotel and 1 free item of checked baggage per person of up to 22kg are included.

21. Tuesday 28th February – Ibiza: One winner will win a 7-night holiday for a family of 4 (2 adults aged 18 or over, and up to 2 children up to the age of 16 years on the date of return). The holiday will be on a half-board basis and you will stay in a One Bedroom Apartment at the Marvell Club Hotel and Apartments, Ibiza. This prize includes return flights for up to 4 people from any UK airport from which Jet2 flies directly to Ibiza airport (IBZ) and allows the duration of the prize advertised. Transfers to and from the overseas airport and the hotel and 1 free item of checked baggage per person of up to 22kg are included.

24 Friday 3rd March – Portugal: One winner will win a 7-night holiday for a family of 4 (2 adults aged 18 or over and up to 2 children up to the age of 16 years on the date of return). The holiday will be on an All-Inclusive basis and you will stay in a Family room at the Tivoli Alvor Algarve Resort Hotel, Portugal. This prize includes return flights for up to 4 people from any UK airport from which Jet2 flies directly to Faro (The Algarve) airport (FAO) and allows the duration of the prize advertised. Additional Prize Terms & Conditions:
25 Jet2holidays are the prize providers for this promotion and are responsible for all elements of the prize fulfilment apart from the travel insurance which is provided by the Promoter.
26 Jet2holidays reserves the right to amend or cancel the flights or holiday for any reason without prior notice (which may include substituting the prize or any element of the prize with alternative dates/property/transfers/destinations at any time, to the equivalent prize value).
27 The prize may only be taken by the prize winner along with any accompanying passenger(s) notified to Jet2holidays in the relevant booking, subject to the maximum number of passengers specified within the prize details. Flights must be taken by all passengers at the same time from the same airport.
28 The prize winner will be contacted by the Promoter within 14 days of winning the Promotion, with instructions on how to book their travel directly with Jet2holidays.
29 Any optional purchases or supplements are extra and are subject to the standard Jet2holidays or Jet2.com terms and conditions and any applicable charges must be paid for by the winner at the time of booking for all the travelling party.
30 The prize duration may not be extended and no element of the prize may be changed by the winner. Additional passengers outside the maximum amount permitted in the prize details will need to be paid for by the winner and will be charged at normal rates for flights and accommodation.
31 The prize is subject to Jet2holidays' and Jet2.com's terms and conditions (together the “Jet2 Terms and Conditions") which can be found at and respectively. The holiday shall not constitute a ‘package’ under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 (the “Regulations”) and the Regulations shall not apply, nor shall the applicable provisions of the Terms and Conditions which relate to the Regulations. In the event of any discrepancies between the Specific Rules for this Promotion and the Jet2 Terms and Conditions, these Specific Rules shall take precedence.
32 Please note that flight schedules are not guaranteed.
33 Prize flights are limited on the flights operated by Jet2.com and may be unavailable even if there is general availability on a particular flight.
34 The prizes include 1 free item of checked baggage per person up to 22kg and airport transfers to and from the hotel in the destination country.
35 Where Jet2holidays makes any changes to the prize (including dates of travel), no compensation or cash equivalent will be available. Jet2holidays will not be liable for any cancellations or changes to the prize draw or any prize, or for any loss or damage entrants or accompanying passengers suffer as a result of entering the prize draw provided that nothing in these terms shall exclude or limit the liability of Jet2holidays in relation to personal injury or death caused by Jet2holidays negligence or for fraud.
36 You must, at your own cost, comply with all necessary checks, and/or tests required for travelling to and from and entering and exiting your travel destination/venue. This includes, but is not limited to, purchasing, organising, undertaking, recording and/or registering any required Covid-19 tests. We will not be responsible for any costs incurred by you in complying with this clause, nor will we purchase, organise, undertake, record and/or register any required Covid-19 tests.
37 You must comply with all applicable rules, regulations and guidance relating to Covid-19, both in the UK and your travel destination/venue. We are not responsible for your failure to comply with such rules, regulations and guidance.
38 You acknowledge and agree that, without limitation to the provisions of Clause 12 of the General Terms & Conditions, our ability to fulfil a prize and/or perform any of our obligations under the Promotion Terms and Conditions could be affected by an actual or threatened epidemic, pandemic, disease or quarantine and/or any corresponding governmental action, guidance and/or ruling (including but not limited to any Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office guidance) (collectively ‘Covid Measures’).
If due to any Covid Measures, we are unable to fulfil a prize or perform any of our other obligations under the Promotion Terms and Conditions, then we shall not be in breach of the Promotion Terms and Conditions. In accordance with Clause 42 below, in these circumstances, we reserve the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value at our absolute discretion.
39 Travel insurance is provided by the Promoter on an optional basis and is subject to normal terms of acceptance. Pre-existing medical conditions may not be covered. Travellers must be 74 years old or younger. It is the sole responsibility of the winner to check the Promoter’s travel insurance policy to ensure it provides the appropriate level of cover required. If travel is to the following locations: Nigeria, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Mexico, Venezuela, India, Iraq, Philippines, Honduras, Brazil, Somalia, Algeria, Mali, Mauritania or Niger, full names of travellers must be supplied to the insurer before travel. The travel insurance is provided to the winner on the understanding and agreement that it is only valid for the holiday prize described in this Promotion. Should the winner decide not to accept the Promoter’s travel insurance policy the responsibility will be on the winner to obtain suitable travel insurance for themselves and, where applicable, their guests.
40 Any other costs and expenses which are not specifically included in the prize description are excluded and will be the sole responsibility of the winner. By way of example, without limitation, spending money, visas, and travel to/from UK airports and the winner’s home address are not included within the prize.
41 The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available except at our sole discretion.
42 We reserve the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value at our absolute discretion.

44 Your personal data that you provide to us will be collected and processed by us, our licensees (including Communicorp UK Limited) and our Promotion Partner as well as the prize providers, and if applicable, our service providers, network operators and suppliers in order to administer and fulfil the Promotion. Your personal data may also be disclosed to the Phone-paid Services Authority, Ofcom and/or the Advertising Standards Authority at their reasonable request for regulatory purposes, for example, in order to prevent, investigate and detect crime, fraud or anti-social behaviour and comply with law enforcement agencies and applicable advertising codes.
45 By entering a Promotion, you acknowledge that any personal data provided by you in connection with the Promotion will be processed as set out above and in accordance with our Privacy Policy which sets out full details of how we process personal data and how you can exercise your rights as a data subject, and our Promotion Partner’s Privacy Policy. Please ensure you have read and understood our Privacy Policy and our Promotion Partner’s Privacy Policy before entering any Promotion. If you are required to submit a guest(s)/travel companion(s) personal data to enter a Promotion, you must ensure that your guest(s)/travel companion(s) have given you consent to provide us and our Promotion Partner with their personal data.
46 You may be asked if you want to opt-in to marketing from us and/or our Promotion Partner when you enter a Promotion. If you choose to opt-in, we and/or our Promotion Partner will use your personal data for marketing purposes (see Global's Privacy Policy and our Promotion Partner’s Privacy Policy for more details). You can withdraw your consent to marketing at any time by unsubscribing.
47 We, our Promotion Partner and the prize providers may transfer and process personal data outside of the EEA and UK for the purposes of administering the Promotion. Where any transfers are made outside of the EEA or UK we and the Promotion Partner will ensure appropriate safeguards to protect your personal data are in place.
48 We will hold your personal data for a period of up to 3 years in order to comply with our regulatory obligations.
You may request the removal of your personal details from our database by contacting . If you request that your personal details be removed prior to the conclusion of a Promotion, you will forfeit your right to enter the Promotion and/or claim any prize and we reserve the right to select another entrant to participate in the Promotion or withdraw the prize and select another winner, as applicable.
